Micropix Ltd was founded in 2010 and is based in Chichester, UK. We specialise in digital imaging within hospital pathology departments. We manufacture and supply our own range of state-of-the-art digital microscope cameras, a Macro-imager for gross / dissection bench digital imaging and archiving, laboratory to consultant-grade microscopes (we resell popular makes and have our own brand), microscope to camera c-mount adapters, LED fluorescence illumination and digital slide-scanners (for whole slide imaging - WSI) by Mikroscan and KF Bio. All at cost-effective prices.

Microscope Cameras

Micropix Peak digital microscope camera

Explore our range of digital microscope cameras that includes our Peak-2 (monochrome for fluorescence imaging), Peak-3, Peak-8, Peak-12 and Peak-20 USB3 cameras that work with our Cytocam software. 

We also offer standalone (no PC required) cameras for when multiple users need a quick, simple live image displayed on an AV system / TV / Projector (via HDMI) e.g. in an MDT / MDM meeting room or lecture theatre.

Cytocam is modular so that you only pay for the functionality you require.

Modules include, Annotation and Calibration, Fluorescence, Image Comparison, Video and Timelapse, Background Correction and Multi-user Module.


Macro-imager

Macro-imager camera by MIcropix

Macro-imager uses a 30x, motorised zoom with Full HD camera to easily capture and store images taken during cut-up.

Using a standard 75×75 VESA, the camera can be mounted above almost any existing dissection bench.

Modular software, simple LIMS integration and 100% hands-free operation via voice commands make this an excellent addition to your digital pathology solutions.


Microscopes

Micropix UM23 microscope

Introduced in early 2023, is our UM23 consultant microscope.

With ergonomic features including a tilting head and extended stage lever, it is comfortable to use across the whole working day.

Supplied with 2x (plan), 4x, 10x, 20x, 40x plan fluorite / semi-apo objectives with optional 60x and 100x (oil).

Includes comprehensive 5 year warranty for peace of mind.


C-mount Adapters

Micropix c-mount adapter

We supply a range of c-mount adpaters that will attach any c-mount microscope camera to any microscope.

C-mounts are microscope manufacturer (and sometimes model) specific.

Some include optics which when matched with the size of the camera sensor will optimise the camera field of view.


Fluorescence Illumination
